Our client, an Insurance Services firm based in San Diego, is seeking a self-starter who is passionate and results-oriented to join their team. The key objective of this role is to assist the firm with lead generation and increase sales.
Role Overview
This role is critical in assisting the firm with lead generation and increasing sales, focusing on business insurance products, specifically workers' compensation and employee medical insurance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess the skills to engage effectively with a predominantly Spanish-speaking clientele.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and audience segmentation to generate leads for business insurance products, specifically workers' compensation (third-party damages) and employee medical insurance
- Initiate contact with qualified prospects, effectively communicating our product offerings to generate interest and drive sales
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our commercial insurance products, specifically focusing on workers' compensation policies and employee medical coverages
- Frame conversations to help clients understand our client's diverse services, creating awareness and fostering a comprehensive understanding of the firm's capabilities
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the financial or insurance sectors, with a strong focus on B2B transactions
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify and target potential clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade prospects
- Professional proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish and English is essential
- Familiarity with CRM tools to utilize our product platforms and marketing applications
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote setting, as well as in a team environment, with a positive and professional demeanor
- Experience in full sales cycle and closing deals
- Familiarity with startup culture and the ability to thrive in such an environment
- Strong background in market research and B2B marketing.
